COVID Information

FACEBOOK in collaboration with all of our City’s Chambers of Commerce are providing Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to area businesses free of charge.  The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce has reached out to some by email. If you are interested in receiving these free supplies for your business, consult their web page or call the FW Chamber office (817)3362491.  A reservation is required.  First Come First Served.  You will be given a date and time to pick up your supplies.

Many students were not eligible for the Stimulus Check. There are disaster funds available to College Students.  To access those funds, students should search for a link on their college webpage or send a request to the school’s financial aid office and request instructions for applying.

Mortgage Holders should contact their mortgage company if they are unable to make current payments.  Various options are available, but you must contact and request individual consideration due to COVID-19, in order to avoid a negative impact on your credit score and to receive relief.

Credit Cardholders should contact their credit card issuer to request relief due to COVID-19. Some options are freezing of interest during this time period and waiving of minimum monthly payments, with no penalty. Both of those options could be beneficial to anyone on a tight budget.

In the market for a new car? Now might be the time to shop.  Several Manufacturers are offering substantial incentives, including deferment of monthly payments, some up to 6 months. Of course, read the fine print and determine if what they are offering is in your best interest.  Also, car finance companies are working with current customers who request relief.

The state of Texas is extending license expirations for Texas Drivers Licenses, and occupational licenses.  Check the official State of Texas website for your particular situation.
